The Roadhouse Cafe, located at 488 South Street in the heart of Hyannis, is recognized as one of Cape Cod's premiere restaurants. The key for the Roadhouse Cafe has been to consistently provide superior food, service and ambiance to both locals and visitors alike. Owned and operated by David Colombo for the last twenty five years, this year-round restaurant opens daily at 4:00 PM and offers "early bird" specials till 6:00 PM.

Upon arriving at the cheerful and inviting yellow building with black awnings, one is greeted by convenient valet parking. Entering into the immaculate, warm and clubby atmosphere, which is tastefully decorated with wonderful antiques and oriental rugs, one feels surrounded by a classy yet casual sensation. The lounge is dominated by a custom-made mahogany bar and two of the four dining rooms have working fireplaces. There's a piano bar in their newest addition, the Backdoor Bistro. A piano soloist is featured on Friday and Saturday nights and a Monday Night Jazz ensemble weekly with the finest musicians on the East Coast. During the summer season, one can find entertainment five nights a week.

The menu offers native seafood, including Cioppino and Cajun blackened poached salmon steak, choice beef, pasta dinners and Italian specialties. For those looking for lighter fare, the Bistro offers both the regular dinner menu and the bistro menu which consists of salads, sandwiches and authentic Italian thin crust pizza.

The carefully chosen wine list includes twenty wines by the glass and the impressive beer list features approximately 30 different beers. To compliment the perfect meal, there is a delectable choice of homemade-on-the-premise desserts, which change according to the seasons. Cappuccino, espresso or after dinner cordials can be paired quite nicely with our desserts.
